Nation To A Samanyan [common Man] Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

Nation To A Samanyan [common Man]

Rating: 5.0

In this arrangement of a nation-
a common man within this arrangement-
what he looses in this arrangement-
is indeed immense.
Even if the nation dots his finger-
gets his vote- to form its administration,
this in no way will compensate his loss
in this arrangement of a nation.

In this arrangement of a nation-
defense becomes a predominant necessity-when this
defense comes across an offense-
an evil war becomes an absolute necessity,
in today's un conventional warfare-
a toiling tired common man could be-
shattered to death in his sleep.

In this arrangement of a nation-today
politician the 'sakuni' is the charioteer,
who steers 'arjuna' the administrator
How this mishap we dont know-
The whereabouts of 'krishna' we dont know
How is 'gita' possible then?

If this arrangement of a nation-could be
done away with-
the least benefit for the common man-
would be a warless world.
The most benefit for the common man -
would be his freedom from 'sakuni'.

A thought provoking piece my brother.....the fate of man..lies in each of us....we must save ourselves.....The issues this world has, can not be resolved by conflict -religion continues to take front seat.....when the truth is....Power over mind and free speech...is the main cripple of this worlds many nations....which is being used as the ammo to throw across the political tables....do the goverments care...not one bit....unless there's money involved that is......Common problems, for the common man....surviving in an uncommon world. Great work Sam 10

In one family there is no unity among sons and brothers. How can one expect a nation, built up of multiple religions, languages, castes and creeds, would remain without any friction among them now and then? But on the whole, behind all these infights, there should be a sense of nationlism and unity among all the citizens for the welfare of the country.

A real concern raising poem. But unarchy and choas were there at all times at all places. We cannot lose heart. We can all strive in the ways we can; as poets of your calibre can expose these evils..........one day; that good day may come....
