Nature Poem by Elizabeth Grace

Nature

Rating: 4.8

There's a lonely girl
who has stars instead of eyes
and rain falls in crystals
whenever she cries
Her words are her wings
and she takes to the sky
whenever she speaks
carried so high
on a daydream of mirrors
promises and lies
that there's nothing in the world
she's afraid to try

She speaks in song
and her voice is a prayer
that echoes the meaning of God

She rejoices in the springtime
she dances for the moon
the wind becomes her breath
and it plays through her hair
like it was made to be there

Someday I'll meet her
this girl with stars for eyes
maybe in the dance
of a passing butterfly
or maybe I'll see her
in a glimpse of bluest skies

Or maybe, just maybe
I'll meet her in the pouring rain
and catch the crystals that she cries

Incredibly beautiful, one of your best. It seems you're offering diamonds today, I am very impressed. I don't know who rated this a 9, they're obviously delusional. A great piece, you have my 10.
