Nature Of Life Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Nature Of Life

The sands of time, a silent steady flow,
Where moments vanish like a whispered sigh,
And shadows lengthen as the sunsets glow,
A gentle fading as the seasons die.
We watch the future with a questioning eye,
And chase the echoes of an ancient age,
While present moments swiftly leave the stage.

The fragile blossoms of a fleeting spring,
A testament to beauty's briefest grace,
The songs of summer that the warm winds bring,
A fleeting joy that leaves a vacant space.
We search for solace in a loved one's face,
And cling to memories where old echoes chime,
A yearning for a more enduring time.

The autumn leaves, a tapestry of gold,
A gentle whisper of a fading year,
The winter's silence, stories yet untold,
A quiet waiting as the end draws near.
We face the darkness with a trembling tear,
And seek for meaning in the whisper's shout,
A fragile hope that banishes all doubt.
