Near The Mayon Volcano Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Near The Mayon Volcano

Rating: 5.0

C-oal clouds Friday morning
A-re not becoming black;
T-wentieth January beacon
R-ises, remaining on track.
I-t's a beautiful day,
N-ew dawn starts to break;
E-vening shadows disappear, so does the heartache.

B-ad weather has vanished,
O-utside the sky is clear;
N-o more mist and haze,
A-s your birth brings much cheer.
O-pen both your eyes,
B-ehold the perfect cone and know;
R-umbling rocks are heard,
A-s you're near the Mayon volcano.
