E-arly Monday morning,
L-ight has begun to ascend;
I-ntention to rise has started,
A-s the dusk and twilight end.
N-ew dawn March twenty-seventh has broken after the night;
A-nother birthday has come, setting everything aright.
L-et the burning beacon
U-se the break of day;
E-ither haze or mist passes by,
N-either warmth nor mirth is far
A-way.
