Nephrite Mine Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Nephrite Mine

Nephrite Mine

Till today, on paper
US is number one,
The facts say:
"India! "

USA has purchased,
Almost all injections,
Leaving res in a hell.

Guess I heard USA:
"Why the hell,
Should we care? "

So has been forever,
Cares-less one in power!

Went around in Peru,
To many towns, cities,
Light was lit to speak:
"Take us as examples,
Of care-less oppressor! "

In Lima two churches
Had become my friends.

In one, were discovered,
The bones of the infants,
Of the nuns with fathers!

Many tools of torture
Were kept in another,
All in name of Jesus!

Oroya, in Quechua
Means bridge, hanging one,
Now, city, and sad town,
I went to inspect mines,
Canada's, Doe Run's,
A gunman, said: "Stop, "
To the right-less locals,
(Natives are the deprived!)
City, La Oroya
Is great place, site,
For facing past to now,
Of care-less without heart!

The mountains are painted,
With smokes of smelt…

One black, other white!

Oh, the wealthy, proud,
If I was the Lord, God,
I would tie a big knot…

Brainless, read the rest!

Would arranges the nooses,
Would set them round your necks!

There, many naked eyes,
Would celebrate, arrive,
To see you, stare, watch,
How you die in the Sun,
Pleading for someone,
To help you climb down!

Love to see the dingle,
Of you with hanging legs,
Suffering in despair!

This is what you deserve!
This is what you deserve!
This is what you deserve!

Now, here, once again,
I see that you arrange,
Same plan, same pattern!

But this time is for jade,
Near Pole, in Northern,
Not the South Hemisphere!

Your greed never ends!
