Never Learn To Say No Poem by Manonton Dalan

Never Learn To Say No

'hey dad can we go to mall
after my class... i want to'
that's my daughter begging
how could i answer sweet girl
my mind mapping dollar signs
she knows we are going

'do your homework on breaks'
i heard my neighbor said that
'is it really very important to'
words stuck in my throat
'okay i will wait at parking lot'
that's what came out, she smile
