Never Wish Me A Good Night If You Leave Poem by Thomas Duncky

Never Wish Me A Good Night If You Leave

Why do you say good night
With love and all your might?
When you deeply know it to be true
There are no pleaures of a good night without you!

Come then, and linger in my sight
Let's complete this single bed with you by my side
For i am afraid your absence would dim my light
And make this night a bad night.
