New Chapter Poem by Dislocated Heart

New Chapter

In a world full of people..
I sat in with my arms on the table.
watching the world passing through.
A woman approached me..
with her smile and wits.
For a brief moment..
I lost you within the mist of her.

Her jokes are witty,
my lips curved,
as you resurfaced abruptly..

I searched for a reason,
but at the end of the night,
I left my name and number,
in hopes of nothing..

as my phone rings..
a new chapter begins.
