New Day
Her heart is a universe
That spirals and orbits my eyes.
I see it brightly
Whether it's day or night.
It twinkles in a special moment
Causing me to ignore previous
Chimes and notifications sent
Via text.
She hovers over me
& I drown in excitement,
Soaked in anticipation.
She lights the parts of me
I keep in the dark.
Her heart;
The sun that welcomes me
Into a new day
