New Year's Mirthful Morn Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

New Year's Mirthful Morn

Rating: 5.0

M-irthful morn of new year
A-ims at a thousand thrill;
V-iew in fireworks display
I-s far away from
C-hill.

E-ight more days to go,
S-unday December's last night will end;
T-wenty-third of twelfth month meanwhile
A-llows your birthday's beacon to ascend.
C-lock of midnight will turn
I-nto a time of vow to be sworn;
O-pen your heart to dawn's delight,
N-ew year's mirthful morn.
