Nice People, I Miss Poem by Manonton Dalan

Nice People, I Miss

been away from home so long
slowly forgetting what I have known
can I find those places of beauty
bamboo grooves over the brooks, a canopy
woods where I spend most of my timed
reaming of what I would become
lovely mushrooms that glow at night
beautiful birds on majestic flight
kids watching cars pass by
pretty kites seem to fill up the sky
golden rice swaying with the breeze
pollen that makes me sneeze
oh! how much more did I miss
yes, nice people, smiling faces
