Night-Life Reject Poem by james watkin

Night-Life Reject

Rating: 5.0

Beside his person, whatever else
Is irretrievable
Beats down Compunction's path, in fued
Of gloomy attitude.

Quelling the air of those silly whims
That with him persevered:
'To be of woman, an acquainter!
More grotesque, admirer! '

Fairy breed of Thought, dire that flashed up
Night-fears of the lonely.
Shimmery wings of it now sucked right
Back into the moonlight.
