She was nine
It was her alcoholic father
Her voice smothered
And then
Life started rotting for her.

One of the reasons why Alcohol is prohibited, it brings more harm than benefits apart from It creates enmity and hatred between people. A thoughtful poem.5*****

No doubt. You are not in a position to understand what you are doing, when you are intoxicated. Refuse alcohol the first time, and every time.

A very heart rending and moving poem in just minimal lines. Alcoholism/ addiction can turn a family into .

Part 2. The teacher took her to a doctor. She was found to be pregnant. Not yet twelve years. Then the whole story broke out. Both the parents were arrested, father for rape and mother for abetting it. Real life story, Rose Marie. Such criminals! ! !

There is a true incident behind this poem, Rose Marie. An alcoholic father raped his daughter for the first time, when she was just nine…continued until one day her discomfort was noticed by her teacher (Contd)
