I let people be
What they are
Allow them to see
My life scars.
However eloquent
Is my verse
They may not comment
As people are diverse
As writers we lay words
That may touch or pass
Meanings we accord
Hopefully thus
If some be inspired
We have done good
What the pen required
And we were understood.
