Where there is a will there is always a way and what doesn't kill us makes us stronger as my Dad used to say. What a dark poem full of so much hope and positive energy! Beautiful imagery expressed with a very positive message. For me personally, I enjoyed reading this today. In the first three stanzas, I was thinking 'sleepy hollow' but in the fourth and final stanza, you pulled the message together. A very expressive write and especially helpful to those who are living in difficult times. Inspirational really. Thanks for sharing Edmund! :)
