No Need To Fear Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

No Need To Fear

Tall bamboo shafts, spiky green leaves
Small hidden nest, a softly cooing bird
Scared in the dark, calling for her mother
But knowing too well in her heart
That she doesn't need to bother
Mama has her covered
Even before its cold
Even a raging storm
Will not loosen her hold.

Yes, Nidhi, I wrote Mallards mate for life. You might also enjoy Gentle Giant.

Very touching. So true of birds. I've been watching the mother ducks on our pond.

Thanks. And have you written anything about the ducks. Do share.
