No One Here Is Roman Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

No One Here Is Roman

Rating: 5.0

When in Rome,
Do what the Romans do!

'Yeah...
But no one here is Roman.
And I don't understand
One thing they are doing! '

That's okay neither do they!
Pretend you are a tourist.
Everyone else does!
And they have been pretentious,
Long before you noticed them.

Well, as for myself, I wouldn't have to pretend to be the tourist! I'd be the one walking about with camera, pointing fingers at all the sights, and asking SOMEONE to make my picture....Rome in the background! Loved this one.
