No Privilege Is Too Prime-Iii Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

No Privilege Is Too Prime-Iii

Court's repute you have torn all apart—
Court of which you have been a fair part,
Feeling still no sorry
For harming its glory,
This token fine comes with heavy heart.

This is third in the series of happenings on contempt of court.
The court comments: He has denigrated the justice system of which he was a part. But is not it better that introspection on the system comes from within? The court sees the point on incongruity of contempt of court in modern times. But still wants to hold on to it. It gave an opportunity to the ‘offender' to apologise. But it was not acceptable to him. And a fine of one Rupee has been imposed!
The drama is still not over.
