Nocturnal Nod! - Poem by nimal dunuhinga

She wears her transparent nightgown
without an underpant
under the starry night
and I see the World's end?
On the way back
along the same road
Falsehood sleeps on the roadside
and I feel sorry for her.
The drunkard old politician
scratching his ringworm
sings under a lamp-post
'We need both of them'
and a retired Lawyer
of his faded uniform
claps to the tune!
