Noel Goes To Work Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Every morning, Noel goes to work at school.
After having meals, he runs and plays for few hours.
If going to work earlier
Noel will not be awake and he will be less happy.
Once he feels ready
He will happily enter his traveling carrier, waiting to go.
Feeling very relaxed, his eyes are half-closed.
He patiently awaits as his owner drives him to school
Arriving at the school, children are ready to welcome him.
Noel runs out of the carrier in the hurry to meet them
The children share their turns.
Some children stroke his hair or rub his head.
Some children give him special food treats.
Some children learn to trim his claws or to rub his paws.
Noel runs and plays around without pause,
Whether he runs to catch light dots or he licks his paws.
Noel's hair is so white and so smooth
He is so docile and so lovable.
Every morning, Noel comes to school
He has a small gift to give: LOVE.

Noel mỗi sáng tới trường
Sau khi ăn uống, chạy chơi vài giờ.
Nếu mà tới lớp sớm hơn
Noel chưa tỉnh, trong lòng kém vui.
Một khi đã sẵn sàng rồi
Noel tự động vào lồng chờ đi.
Thảnh thơi, cặp mắt lim dim
Noel chờ chủ lái xe tới trường.
Tới trường mấy trẻ đang chờ
Noel vội vã bỏ lồng chạy ra.
Các em thay đổi phiên nhau
Đứa thì vuốt tóc, thoa đầu Noel
Đứa thì cho thưởng đồ ăn
Đứa tập cắt móng, nhẹ nhàng vuốt chân.
Noel chạy dỡn loanh quanh
Khi thì bắt bóng, khi nằm liếm chân.
Noel lông trắng mịn màng
Tính tình hiền hậu lại càng dễ thương
Noel mỗi sáng tới trường
Chút quà nho nhỏ tặng người: Tình Thương
