Not A Haiku But Truth Poem by Somanathan Iyer

Not A Haiku But Truth

Emotions and feelings of a
Single person with literary touch
Give birth to poets and authors

Excitement and attraction
Between opposite sex
Add one more to existing race

Intoxication and lust
In rogues with animal instincts
Destroy the lives of innocent women

Power and greed in politics
Disrupts the progress of the nation
And push the growth to decades back

These are universal truths. Keep adding more to the list. Good poem.

positive and negative emotions have strong impact. Positive gives birth to creativity and negative plays havoc with lives.
