Not Ashamed Of
I close my eyes
in search of a better place
where I no longer hide my face.
I can smile and dance
can laugh and be totally carefree
as long as I can be only me.
Among the world I wish was real
where the people believe what they really feel
and are not ashamed of who they are.
I open my eyes to a world of pain
there is no love, there is no trust
I desire most is a definite must
to be not ashamed of who I am.
