"I have some advice, son, " he said, "and please...listen to what I say.
Not every day is wonderful...but there is wonder in every day.

Not all you see is beautiful...but there is beauty in all you see."
Then he picked me up and...gently...placed me down upon his knee.

"It is my hope you realize...before your time is done...
Not everyone you meet will be kind...but there is kindness in everyone."

"Happiness is not always on the surface, " he said, "but oftentimes behind it...
Waiting patiently for someone like you...to come along and find it."
