Not Happy.

So i woke up 04: 00 to write a poetry verse
By 05: 49 i had not written even a word
My distractions included articles about supermassive stars
Those giant life and death giving celestial bodies
Then another article about China's global satellite navigation system
The way it will rival western systems.

I read an article about an obscure Australian poet
And how he was almost ridiculed and called an amateur
His works and style celebrated after his death
Hmmm...i thought...that seems a normal human tendency.
It seems you have to die first before people pay attention.

So i woke up 04: 00 to write a verse
By 05: 49 i had not written even a word
The internet and social media being serious distractions
I see people huddled around their devices
Even driving and texting
Crossing the street without looking left and right
And, i as a poet, getting distracted by news feeds on social media
The poetry downtime is annoying.
I am not happy.
