Not Much Goodness In Secrets Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Why do people have secrets hidden from others, instead of
telling and releasing them to the world in hopes of banish-
ing them forever.

People tend to be drawn into silent grips of secrets, some-
how making them feel they've outwitted life or another per-
son, guessing maybe some secrets are meant to be kept.

Possibly so another person won't be hurt by them, or using
secrets to blackmail someone, there's not very much goodness
in secrets unless they're for surprise birthday parties or
other fun things, hiding these secrets brings joy, happiness
and smiles in the end.
