In the passage through time
And how they measure
On the scale of life's experience
Differs from soul to soul
Sometimes it's the mistakes
Which shape who we become
And the weight of all is balanced
On self judgement and belief
Love, dreams, ambition, hope
Every win or loss is counted
And the lessons learnt echo
Into tomorrow's tomorrow
Choose your regrets
As they will come to happen
Try not to be left wondering
What could have been
