Nothing Left Poem by Tracey Owens

Nothing Left

Rating: 5.0

Everything that I once had is gone.
The life I had is now just a memory.
My old life is fading away and theres
no way in getting it back.
I can't grab it because theres nothing left.

My smile has vanashed from existence.
I can't remember the last time that I smiled.
There is nothing left to smile about.

My laugh has not been heard in so long.
I haven't been able to laugh in so long.
The jokes that were funny to me are no longer funny.
There is nothing left of my laugh.

I desperately want to be myself again.
I want nothing more than to be happy and smile again.
I want to hear my laugh again and enjoy life.
The times with my family are what I need the most.
I want it all back but there is nothing left for me.

like the way you put this poem over to the reader of reflecting on what you lost and that you wanted it all back but still with a doubt that you'll ever get it back
