Nice quiet moment you've captured, Glen. I love them too. Right now I hear the early morning dove cooing echoing. Much more pleasant than the sound of planes passing, which we hear a lot of since we're in the flight path from the airport.

we're also in the jet flight path in bad weather. the morning in this poem was fine, but it was a small plane that passed on its way to the airport which is maybe ten minutes' drive from us. thank you for your comment! (this was another little poem i tinkered with recently.) -glen
