Nuances Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Nuances

Rating: 5.0

Between words, a pause lingers,
not silence, but something softer,
a space where meaning shifts,
never quite setting.

Light bends differently on water,
the same river, never the same.
A glance held a second too long,
a breath drawn but never released.

Nothing is ever just one thing-
laughter edged with longing,
a touch that lingers past its reason,
a farewell that never fully arrives.

The world speaks in echoes,
never in answers,
only in the spaces between.
