Oblivion Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Oblivion

Rating: 4.5

Dreams
shattered by time:

Fragments
of my former self,

Flickering
their former meaning—

A stranger
forcing herself

for recognition
and delight:

I gaze
into an obscure mirror—

Tenebrous shadows
fading progressively

Into oblivion.

I gaze into an obscure mirror — Tenebrous shadows fading progressively, Into oblivion......so touching and impressive. Beautifully penned on oblivion.

How we change with time! I can't but agree with Asim Nehal in toto.

Outstanding, Every word is like pearl, carefully selected and tagged together to make a pearl-chain/ necklace. Loved it, loved it and loved it......10 on 10
