Melodies and themes painting your dreams
A word unspoken, a name
Who smiled upon us and shared this gift
This stranger shy of fame
As silent as mist withdrew from sight
Leaving another's thoughts burning bright
The thief, Unknown, claimed
Lovely ode Lorraine. The brevity of your writing enhances its appeal
For many years I have read poems written by Anonymous and I've often wondered who they were and why the author did not want to be known. This is my tribute to them. When we lived in Charleston, Or.I submitted this poem and two others to the weekly literary magazine Poet's Corner in the Outlook entertainment magazine. The poems were also published in my book On Moonstone Pearls and Crystal Wings copyright 1984 by L.M.Gasrel Black aka Lorraine Margueritte Gasrel Black
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
I guess the thing about anonymous is the intrigue and this piece has that for me...I want to ask so many questions....thanks for smacking my curiosity button
