Ode To Victor Hugo-80 'the Miserable' napoleon Well-Pleased

By Fryad Ibrahim

Napoleon in Waterloo laughed
In the beginning, he laughed
He loved to tease
During that waterloo breakfast
Loved lovely humour
Full of jokes
He pinched his grenadiers' ears
Tweaked their moustaches
The man laughed in this fashion
Felt himself in harmony with events
He had several bursts of laughter
During that Waterloo breakfast
As if he knew he is going to weep
At the end,
This was his last laughter
