Of One God's Family Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Of One God's Family

To be your brother
To be your sister
To be your father
To be your mother
To have no colour

I wish
Neither black nor white
Nor yellow nor brown
Not even in-between

To be your flesh and blood
Of One God's family
Eyes to see no hatred in life
Ears to hear less crying
Nose smelling no taste for evil
Our hands touching His very presence
Never ever having to taste victims' blood

Our hearts stop for a moment of silence
To forgive the monsters of One God's Children
Perpetrating crimes against humanity

We are your good neighbours
Loving and hating you
Simultaneously
Loving your humanity
Your soul's solidarity
Hating uniformity
