Of Perfection Poem by David Lumpkin

Of Perfection

Rating: 4.0

Is there a perfect rose?
Could ever it be? Of delicate petals,
Of radiant hues, there are many.
Alluring fragrance, gentle and sweet.
Come hither and see. None to compete.

Is there a perfect rose?
Could ever it be?

A rose
Is a rose.
So if it will be,
There shall always
Be a thorn.
