Oinkabye - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Oinkabye - Lincoln Park Zoo

So much for a piglet to do,
Many human crowds to delight
At Lincoln Park Farm in the Zoo.
But Mama keeps me in her sight.
She knows the showoff that I am
Running around in boundless zeal.
Yes, I be a bit of a ham,
Seeking attention with my squeal.
When Mama oinks I need to rest,
I know the choice that I should choose,
Cuz what I know - Mama knows best.
I take some time out for a snooze.

How does Mama get me to sleep?
She tells me pig tales - a whole heap.
