I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Rating: 5.0

Old Wes always had some great quest;
He never was able to rest.
So one fine spring day,
He tested, they say,
The very first bullet-proof vest!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dedicated to my friend from Canada, where my mother was born. Wes Vogler is a master of the limerick and told me that I should write more of them.

But what in the world were you thinking, Wes? That guy could have missed high and hit you in the head or the neck! Thankfully, you survived and the vest was a success.

A beautiful limerick with humor and fun has been nicely executed and amazingly shared.10
