I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Old Wes 11

Poor Old Wes is just fit to be tied;
he has tried, and he's tried, and he's tried.
It is NOT just a whim;
it's that writing the lim-
erick is wonderful, great, glorified!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dedicated to Wes Vogler, the master of the limerick.
He loves limericks. He writes in other forms sometimes, but he can't quit going back to his favorite form!
You should read his comic strip about Oogie the cave man with his friends Bud, Dook, Zug, Donna, and others. He posts new episodes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and always introduces his comic strip with a limerick!
Today is Wednesday, and there should be a new episode today. I looked for it earlier and it wasn't there, but as soon as this is posted I will go look again. It is now 11: 25 a. m. Poem Hunter time.

I think she passed away back then on Groundhog Day, thus we should all be sad - -oh! I'll bet she saw her shadow!
