Today, earth has lost the natural check on growing population
water has become scarce for the flush and for vegetation.
It's growing geometrically,
while resources are growing arithmetically.
Effective medicines have driven away the epidemics,
man is interfering nature's ancient dynamics,
nuclear weapons have made world wars impossible,
but nature has weapons both tangible and intangible,
Nature is silently watching this state of disequilibrium,
the universe rests on point of equilibrium,
it has already activated the giant heavenly missiles,
laughing on man made pin like projectiles.
Destruction is the final fate of the earth.
Alas its beauty, its wealth and worth!
This is what everyone knows if he can think,
but a poet is ahead of them he can imagine and ink.
He can see someone creating a new Adam and a new Eve,
you are free to believe or disbelieve.
He can listen to the voices asking, once again my Lord?
Please don't, please don't, Oh My God!
Yes, in the name of love I love to create,
let them meet their final fate,
again and again,
I do not refrain,
in between Hell of creation
and destruction
there flies on its soft wings a golden dove,
and there is a paradise of love,
you do not know
but I will show,
love is impossible at this burning apex
on a cooled down earth you'll see what's love and what's its annex.
Cont.. Though the great Poet has woven from imagination, if we dig into what is happening today, there is truth on the matter, as what Sir Aniruddha has commented below, to which I absolutely concur.
What a MAGNIFICENT write! The great Poet once again showed his prowess through his vast imagination, knowledge and philosophical thinkings.. Very meaningful write that touches the heart of humanity.
great imaginative yeah; love impossible in cooled down earth!
it has already activated the giant heavenly missiles, Yes I agree, nature has. And we shall get what we deserve. Fatalistic, but so true. The poem raises very relevant points, even now tho late it is not too late.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
A powerful and commendable write. Imaginative yet true. Perceptive and wonderful. Another very meaningful message to humanity. You have many great poems, but, I think this is one of your best. Onto my Poem List.
