On A Green Hill Poem by Gina Albiek

On A Green Hill

Rating: 5.0

Standing, on my feet
Not IT's feet
It's where I stand
I stand
IT doesn't stand here
IT is not here
But here I am
And here I stand
Where IT doesn't stand
But I stand

It's high
I climbed
IT couldn't climb
But I climbed
And there I stood
Watching IT
Down, down
Down IT was
Down that green hill
Down IT was

It's about IT
IT starts fading
It was foggy
And IT was getting foggy
And there I stood
On that hill
Watching IT
Fading,
Down,
Down that green hill

Where is IT?
I don't see IT
But I feel IT
IT is still here
Up that hill
Where I stood
IT stood too
I couldn't see IT
But I felt IT
And IT was close

We stood still
IT was down there,
Somewhere
But IT was here too
IT was standing
Where I was standing
IT was standing,
On my feet
IT, has always been here
IT, will always be here
