On-Edge >>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

On-Edge >>>

elephant grass conquered
my beloved playing ground
those shiny stones abound
went missing or been gone
river gouged its path deep
rocks came out like horns

sounds of river flow still same
to my failing ears, music beat
I can still remember rocketing
on down-curve bubbling to a beer
I pick a pretty leaf let it go
search your destiny down-solo
