On The Bay Poem by David Darbyshire

On The Bay

Rating: 5.0

In my boat, on the Bay
couldn't be a better day.
The Water,
is as calm as glass,
thank God the winter
did pass.
Along the bank,
the waves bounce off the rocks,
and plenty of people
playing on the Docks
The boat runs good,
and we do a figure eight
The guy in the tube
for him it's to late
He skims like a stone
along the water top
shouting to us, 'Please Stop! '
we don't, we go on
Laughing as we go, on and on.....

Now I feel that Spring really has sprung! Sounds like so much fun, Dave. Do an '8' for me! Esther : ]
