On The Subject Of Clocks Poem by Tom Billsborough

On The Subject Of Clocks

I am pulse, momentary man,
The motivated impulse
Unloading Time with the causal sanction
Of a clockwork response.
Tick, tock O, radio clock
Of my unconscious being.
And what I am seeing
Has passed, been processed,
And I held fast
In my mind's immediate past.

As we never know what time can hold for us, it is best we use it preciously and wisely if we can, for ooking back on time can be a comfort of sorts. Annette
