One And Done Poem by Lauren Coles

One And Done

People dream about getting married,
But you can't see the future,
People get caught in the glitz and glamour,
People like to solve problems with violence,
Its better to find out that you're not compatible before you have kids,
But before any of that happens the first step to get the ring on your finger,
The kids don't exist for the first wedding,
Once the first wedding is over you put the dress up so you can savor the occasion,
Girls spend money on the dress and it's a hassle to go through the process of getting a other one when you can just wear the same dress twice.
