I remember when I would hold you here.
I never wanted you to leave.
I only wanted just to keep you near.
Babe, you're the one I need.

You picked me up from my own falling grace.
You took me away to your lovin' place.
I remember
When we said it was
Forever.

I'm not gonna ask for one last chance.
I know life's gotten in the way of romance.
But I gotta ask a favor.
Can I have one last dance?

Now it's all just a memory.
It nice to have, but that's all it is.
It's so hard, without the love you gave to me.
Won't you tell me how you can go on like this?

I miss the magic in your eyes.
The smile on your face, the lightning in your touch.
Oh, it lit up the skies.
I didn't know I could love you so much.
