One Of Many Fools
I'll climb a Welsh mountain,
In just a pair of shorts.
I'll do it when its sunny,
Ignoring all weather reports.
Brr! Its suddenly got chilly,
The light is fading fast.
Now its beginning to rain,
How long will I now last.
I'm trapped on this mountain,
Now feeling such a clown.
When I spy Mountain Rescue,
Who give me a dressing down.
A rebuke to never forget,
For breaking climbing rules.
And I am not the first
Just one of many fools.
A bloke did this recently and made the Welsh news.
A wonderful poem with a great message and advice to everyone. A lesson to remember from a brilliant Poet. I can see you climbing that Welsh mountain. Great images!
Indeed, we must never ignore weather reports. Weather sometimes is tricky. The sun can bring its bright and golden beams but in an instant it can be covered by dark clouds that bring a thousand storms.

nice to hear from you again, but please do not stay there over night, especially in the snowy winter, I think it is a clever idea it is not fools, some one call it an adventure, that inspiring you to write a wonderful poem such as this, it deserves 10 and into my treasure chest well done

Very funny poem Shaun...yes these idiots will always be with us. What about those student back packers that go to EXTREMELY DANGEROUS places for their hols? ! Can you imagine the scenario..O Seb let's go mountain climbing in Afghanistan...should be lots of fun. Yes Henrietta I hear the natives are a bit unfriendly, but it should be okay...aaargh...what fools! It's definitely a many a narcissistic tool tries to get to the top of a mountain inspired ten from me!
