Only Memories Remain
ages and ages of loneliness
decades and decades
of walking alone
tired soles
thirsty lips
red eyes
returning
home
to an
empty
house where
you and me sat
on the porch and ate
cashew nuts and sipped wine
now all gone, only memories remain
