Only, the Artist wins,
The Lifelong battle against death,
For in his continual quest,
Against all human sins,
He creates beauty immortal,
Light Eternal, in his search,
For perfect communication,
And vanquishes Time,
But beware, Artistic Soul,
So many more battles lie ahead,
So many more battles, yet to win.

This is a great message for poets who want to make change in the world through their art. I love the idea of an eternal quest for perfect communication. Poetry, in a way, really is that...density of thought, of words, conveying meaning through imagery, metaphor, music...engaging as many senses as possible to make communication work....well said!
