Open Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Open

C-losed doors of the hearts
A-re far away from heaven;
R-efreshed emotion of love
L-ets its guarded gate
O-pen.

M-ove away the doorlock,
A-s I start to hold my pen;
G-ood greetings are disclosed,
N-o word is left not
O-pen.

V-isualize the joy within
I-n welcoming the day;
L-et your arms stretch,
L-earning to lead the way.
A-llow the mind to think,
N-oting time beneath the sky;
U-se the moment in gladness,
E-leventh morn in July.
V-ery well you understand the rhyme that I've written;
A-ll you have to do is read and let your eyes open.
