Open Theatre Of Night
In festive season of this outdoor area,
This is built by tent of bamboo and cloth,
Varieties of lights of colours are attached,
Attractive dramatic stage is ready in street.
Traditional performance is given by artist,
On this stage rays of light are dancing too,
Gentle music is giving thrill to audience,
Performer of play is expressing dialogue.
Other performers are waiting to come here,
Play is started with devotional song of love,
This artist is searching for his beloved one,
He is saying that he is soul searching God.
As per time wheel he has come here to play,
Here the world drama wheel repeats more,
Man with costume looks different to all,
Night is humming with light of drama stage.

Theatre of the danda Nata is famous in Ganjam although it is seen in other districts. People there see opera at night during Danda celebration. Due to Corona this year the Danda Nata was not celebrated.
